The present communication product documents the reality of a group of
women who found a means of subsistence and personal development in the
production of urban gardens. They are vulnerable women, single mothers, heads of
household or housewives who took a turn in his life to become micro-entrepreneurs,
from the food that is grown and harvested with their own hands.
The main objective of this work is to promote the activities carried out by the
AGRUPAR program of the Metropolitan Agency of Economic Promotion
CONQUITO, to motivate the citizenship, from the positive experiences, to
participate of urban agriculture as an alternative in favor of food sovereignty of those
of us who live in the Metropolitan District of Quito.
The stories documented in this video will be evidence for those who want to
start in the urban agriculture activities within the AGRUPAR program. The video
will be used as a tool of audiovisual communication for the presentation of the
project. |
