Sumario: The systematization of the experience of the Psychosocial Project to strengthen the self-esteem of children with experience in verbal and physical mistreatment was carried out by the author using the technique of Self-instruction, which is promoted from the theoretical Cognitive-Behavioral approach. This approach aims to modify the emotional and motor behaviors of children who participated in this project, generating more appropriate behavior. Because the execution of the project was made from the cognitive behavioral approach, it is intended to modify the ideas or beliefs of participating children, so that their restructured behavior can be regulated. The information obtained through the application of the technique of self-instruction during the application of the workshops was classified. It gave it a sequence which enables to structure the experience and get logic of what was the process, thus managing to answer the key research questions. Quantitative analyzes were also carried out by taking the "Messy Test for Social Skills (MATSON) 1981, and the Social Interaction Skills Questionnaire CHIS (Monjas) 1993, to measure their potential in social skills. For this, two experiments were employed. There was a pre versus a post-treatment intervention, which provided statistical results of the changes experienced in participating children.
