This document is the result of the analysis of the Technology Infrastructure of the Ministry of Tourism and the design and development of a contingency plan based on the ITIL methodology, is necessary, for which it is important to have and involve security policies to take appropriate measures aiming to prevent incidents, problems, failures and impacts that could occur and are an opportunity to manage the previously mentioned events for the implementation of the Contingency Plan, the same which would involve updating and improving the Data Center.
Due to the need to ensure the proper performance of the functions of all public servants of the Department of Information Technology and Communication, in particular, and the Ministry of Tourism in general, needs related to the management and operation of equipment and computer systems, subject to the established recommendations, is necessary to define the general guidelines to ensure proper information retrieval and proper functioning of the services, through a Contingency Plan using the ITIL methodology, defined to retrieve the processing of critical resources, as well as to ensure the continuity of applications, in case of loss or total or partial damage of the systems operating in the Ministry of Tourism. |
