Sumario: The CNC machines (Computerized Numerical Control) are currently of great help in small and large industries, workshops of all kinds of medium or small relevance for the fact of facilitating and simplifying the work to users and operators who need them to perform different jobs. Now it has the help of a computerized numerical control which in other words is the use of a computer that controls and monitors the movements of the tools that have a machine whether they are portable or bench, for example: lathe, milling machines, grinders, press, robotic arm, laser cutting, etc. It should be emphasized that there are different types of machines in the industry, they can be robust or less demanding, the former have a sophisticated feedback system for the execution of the motors in speed and position, the latter can be controlled with a external personal computer that work in conjunction with a variety of stepper motors, servomotors and drive components to move each of the axes and execute the necessary movements for execution. Our project is focused on the automation of a CNC machine with the purpose of obtaining different types of threads in two different diameters made in a light material, for example: nylon, grilon, Teflon, plastic that due to its extremely high duration characteristics are used in the preparation of any task. In addition, a graphical interface was developed with the help of LabVIEW software that allows to select the thread design, thread length, size of the piece diameter and the passage from turn to turn, was also implemented for the verification of the piece quality control using artificial vision that indicates if the piece is correct or incorrect, showing in the interface the length of the thread and its diameter.
