The manufacture of modular furniture in the company Ambiente Modular is a work
that is made using machines for cutting wood. These machines have a manual system
to move the saws vertically and give the height with which you want to work. The
guides are responsible for setting size board for the cut. The main technical objective
of this technical project is to automate the displacement of the cutting guide, which
was made based on a system of gears and racks, those are coupled to two stepper
motors, which improve, the precision of the machine. The holding of the boards is
with pneumatic holding devices which are placed in the moving part of the table,
avoiding problems of knocking or abrupt return of the boards. The system also has a
control panel, whose main function is to enter and operate the cut by the operator,
monitor the measurement and also display information such as the activation of
preventive alarms, among others. The machine has been equipped with a safety
system which focuses on controlling the return of the cutting guide and the
deactivation of the motor to preserve the physical integrity and health of all the
company's personnel. |
