This paper has a Community hospital intervention proposal, using a qualitative and participatory methodology. This methodology applies three main phases. First, the diagnosis of the “La Arcadia” neighborhood will be analyzed. Second, this analysis will be used in the intervention proposal, focusing on the theoretical background. In addition, this investigation will be reviewed by the established institutions that have been in La Arcadia. Finally, the planning and design of the intervention will be performed.
This process of a community intervention aims to design, develop and evaluate the actions, working together with the community and a facilitator. Also, this process pretends to promote the participation of all community members. The actions will be more effective and efficient if more community members are involved from the begging of the process. |
