Sumario: The individuals of the genus Paulownia belong to the Paulowniaceae family; they are of Asian origin and fast-growing. There is an interest in this genus because of its timber characteristics, potential use in production systems, fixation CO2 and bioenergy. The aim of this study was to validate and develop a technology for in vitro multiplication of Paulownia elongata, Paulownia fortunei and a hybrid (Paulownia fortunei x Paulownia elongata), under conventional propagation system and temporary immersion system from buds and were executed in four stages: establishment, multiplication, rooting and adaptation in greenhouses. For the first stage, the disinfection is achieved by the protocol N°3 (Povidyn 1% + Benomyl 1 g / L + Python 1% + Rifampicin 0,5 mL / L +sodium hypochlorite 1% + ascorbic acid 100 mg / L + Tween 20) in M&S culture medium, without hormones for 30 days. For the multiplication phase under the conventional system, the best culture medium was (M&S 1x) supplemented with 0,2 mg / L BAP getting a higher rate of multiplication to P. elongata (16,4), P. fortunei (10,4) and a hybrid (15,5). Under the Temporary Immersion System, with the medium m3 (M&S 1x+ 2 mg/L BAP) was obtained higher rate of multiplication to P. elongata (4,18), P. fortunei (4,35) and a hybrid (3,42). For rooting phase the best culture medium was M&S supplemented with 0,4 mg / L IBA for 30 days. In the adaptation phase substrate composed of peat, perlite and vermiculite gave the best results with 100 % survival.
