This academic article presents the necessary and elementary processes required to revitalize social memory, applied in the case of the Puembo, which is located north of the city of Quito.
Puembo has a population growth by effect and consequence of migration that has brought some factors of loss of social memory, and what is intended is to give an initiative to the authorities with the sample of a project that serves the villagers revive the memories and anecdotes so that they are transmitted to the following generations.
With this purpose will be to revitalize the memory of puembeños trought a reencounter with the past and present with the conclusion of analyzing the results achieved, the academic article consists of the contribution of interviews of residents Puembo, in order to reveal the investigated events that have been going on for years in the area.
On the other hand, Puembo has aspects such as: culture, political, economic aspects, traditions, parties, old people and gastronomy that are the fundamental and for main part of the construction of identity, for this reason it is essential to have the information trought interviews, oficial documents, books and web information for the writting and preparation of the academic article. |
