Sumario: The residential complex Ciudad Serrana is located at la Merced, Parroquia Cutuglagua which belongs to Mejia Canton in Pichincha Province. This research project on its development has considered three main statuses: The Milestone Status, which refers to events and incidents very important and significant for a global process or for an individual life. The Social Memory Status, which refers to those experiences that are already engraved in the community and Residential Complex Ciudad Serrana members. And finally, the Future Status, which points to the future view and opinion contrasts that all the interviewees have regarding the community and personal development. For some of the community members to have a nice house with all the necessary devices is enough, for others to make their Residential Complex as a model of progress in Quito would be the ideal goal. Most important to mention is that in order to rebuild a social memory you need to link community sense and belongingness so that the members of the group would be allowed to involve and participate in the process, then all the people could reach a social identity which is the purpose of the current job.
