Sumario: This research aims to measure the effects of the implementation on the Kangus preventive program about phonological acquisition level application in a 5 year old children group. The study sample consisted of 14 children divided randomly and deliberately into an experimental group and a control group; the training program was applied only to the first group, a pre and post assessment of phonological awareness (PECO) were used in both groups. Researchers validated a general hypothesis and specific hypotheses, as the program showed a significant global increase in phonological acquisition, on its syllabic and phonemic levels, and in the addition and omission tasks.
