Sumario: This project describes the application of a Webquest in the IV of a school in Bogotá D.C. The Webquest was used as a pedagogical approach to achieve the objective of this research, which corresponds to the improvements that this proposal can generate competition literacy of students, in whom deficiency was detected in this regard. The research was conducted by adopting a descriptive exploratory methodology and qualitative elements. The instruments used in research realized the fulfillment of the objectives. The Webquest is a starting point to promote communicative competence in reading and writing in any area of the curriculum, besides being a good motivation for reading and writing habits of students. This strategy not only as a constructivist approaches to ICT students an uplifting way, but also promotes values and knowledge that extend beyond the classroom.
