Sumario: This document proposes the implementation of a strategy for improvement, using Lean Six Sigma, through tools and analysis statistical, to identify and reduce the causes of the high cycle time of the process of trimming, in the company Adrenalina S.A.S. At a meeting in mid-april, between the manager of the company and authors, it was determined that the process of trimming should be involved, as it had the highest cycle time of the production process, making it the main bottleneck. In order to reduce this cycle time, it was carried out through the DMAIC methodology. In the first phase, there was a characterization of the process to intervene (trimming); followed by the measurement phase of the cycle time and the variables involved in this; in the third phase, the critical variables of the process and their impact on cycle time, were determined and analyzed; for improvement phase, four proposals were posed, and the best was chosen according to the needs of the company, validating it through simulation; finally, the selected control improvement is proposed, using formats and indicators.
