This project´s objective is the decrease in preparation times of the extruder machine in a cable network company through the application of the lean six sigma, a methodology developed with the purpose of improving the overall process, decreasing the variety of such and the elimination of the eight kinds of waste that could arise. For the completion of this project, the application of a variety of tools such as SMED and 5s has been principal to the task to decrease the preparation times of the extruder machine 301, cable lines of medium tension, and a statistical analysis executed via the program Minitab v16. |
