Sumario: Introduction. Method. Observational research, descriptive research, and transverse type research, from blood bank records data were collected Gender and Age, as well as the number of donors presenting phenotypes of the Rh system and phenotypes of the Kell system. Result. During the month of July of 2017 at the Hemocentro Alfonso Zurek Meza donated 616 people with a sample size of 160 donors, of which the most fever is CDe 65 (40%), followed by cDE 35 (21.9%), CDE 29 (18.1%), cDe 16 (19%), cde 14 (8.8%), Cde 2 (1.3%), cdE 0 (0%), CdE 0 (0%). The phenotype of the Kell system: was found a frequency of 5 (3.12%). Conclusion. The results show that the blood donors of the city of Cartagena present a phenotypic variety for the CcDdEe complex which may be the product of the mixture of races. Regarding the Kell phenotype, we found 5 donors with K antigen, and 4 of these Rh positive. Due to the great variety of the CdDeEe complex, it is necessary to consider the phenotyping of these antigens for all blood donors and the patients is a strategy to reduce alloimmunization. oncluding that it is very important to carry out complete phenotyping to all donors.
