In National League matches, 1 (one) judge per game is planned and assigned, although there are cases that two judges are assigned to observe and qualify the same; they are the ones who perform the stoppage of the ball in case this occurrence occurs called LET (in which the ball touches or rubs the mesh). The judges who are the people who verify this fault, explain that the arrest of the match by the touch of mesh, is committed when the ball makes a touch or abrupt change with the mesh, which prevents the free passage of it changing its trajectory or effect. If the ball makes a very superficial touch on the net, this is not taken into account so the ball does not show a sudden change or (effect) in its way to the other player or opposite field of the table. So that one of the judges can stop the service and be able to perform it again, the ball has to have a perceptible touch for them, however, players can observe the touch of mesh and do not stop to stop the service or match. We want to implement an embedded system of Mesh Touch in the table tennis fields to contribute to the improvement of the game, since the problems of detection of the Let especially in the Touch of Mesh that is the problem to improve, have led to a sum of errors in judging even the best judges at the time of each serve in matches. With this device the judge and other people will be able to realize the moment in which the ball has had touch on the mesh and thus you can enjoy a healthier game and without interventions of the players in the service as it has occurred in many of the matches that take place in different types of tournaments (departmental, national, university, among others). |
