Sumario: The present work consists in the systematization of a program of stimulation of cognitive processes, for students of the sixth and seventh year of BGE of the Marcelino Champagnat School, in order to develop their learning. It begins with a diagnosis of 93 students, 46 of sixth and 47 of seventh year of BGE; of wich 6 and 16 students respectively presented learning difficulties. From the application of the CEPA Questionnaire (adapted), we obtained real data of the disadvantages found in the cognitive processes, evidencing that the areas of greatest difficulty are mathematics, oral language expression and attention-concentration, memory in the students of the sixth Year of BGE, while they receiving information, errors in reading and writing, and Expression of Oral language and attention-concentration-memory in the students of seventh year of BGE. Based on the diagnosis, a project was carried out based in the implementation of workshops to stimulate cognitive functions, based on Feuerstein's mediated learning. This program was developed for 6 months, in 60 minutes for each basic year, from 10:30 a.m. and 13h30 with 7th and 6th basic year, at so many different places at the classroom. The results of the Test and Re-test of the CEPA questionnaire (adapted) are used to record students’ changes in each of the areas. The application of the intervention plan allows, confirming a marked improvement in the cognitive processes of the participants, with positive different results from the initial situation of the students and teachers.
