Sumario: The report presented describes the systematization of the experience acquired through the execution of an intervention project that arose from a sudden rise in the rate of staff turnover in the Autonomous Decentralized Government of the Municipality of Rumiñahui. This elevation was detected by the Head of the Human Talent Department by observing the number of dropouts requested at the institution. To give immediate solution to the problematic situation presented by the government institution, it was decided to design and implement a staff retention plan consisting of actions aimed at minimizing the effect of the identified causes for the problem in question. The results obtained from the intervention project met the expectations of the beneficiaries and the rest of the parties involved, since the work objectives were satisfactorily achieved and the turnover rate of the staff was reduced, thus achieving stability in the workers and the improvement of the quality of the service provided by the organization under study.
