Sumario: Ecuador is a multicultural and multilingual country concerned, however according to the linguistic experiences of many Ecuadorian authors, can comprehend and understand the true reality that happens with native languages elsewhere. And even in Imbabura Quichua is considered one of the languages not worth yankashimi language. This attitude leaves us one message, ignorance or lack of value of our language. Through the research on the Study of Quichua Sociolinguistic situation in the community of Alto Ascázubi and implementation of surveys each group, it became apparent as the language daily has been losing worth and history. Of the total population, two who was about 93 years Quichua spoken and understood .then my research has a purpose, collaborate and contribute in their recovery, providing incentives and encouragement to families and school children, who are the more appropriate to start with revitalizing it. As students of the Salesian University, I am paid to provide support to the population and as a teacher of the campus take advantage of children to learn to value and respect our language, through an hour class. Thus fulfilling the practical part of the thesis, only then can get a positive result of my research and to feel satisfied with my work done here.
