The present work is to evaluate the antioxidant activity of the Ficus citrifolia leaves; it was found that the dry extract has 54.44 % of the total of phenols. The antioxidant activity extract of the dry Ficus citrifolia through the essay with DPPH (2,2-diphenil-1-picrilhidracil). The IC50 obtained for the extract of the Ficus citrifolia was about 8.139003 mg/mL that inhibits the 50% of the oxygenation of DPPH.
An emulsion was prepared at 0.5 and 1% of concentration, a none invasive study alive was made with 18 volunteers. To measure this Cutometer MPA 580 that evidences the viscoelasticity and firmness of the skin in the cero day (before applying the cream) was used and after 21 days of treatment. To evaluate the results an analysis of varieties was realized. The results of the studies demonstrate that the creams show an important improvement in the viscoelasticity and firmness of the skin.
