In this document we present in detail the tools, development and implementation of a Web application, which allows the registration of internships or preprofessional practices to the students of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana Campus Sur of the Systems Engineering degree.
It is desired to satisfy the needs among the students and the teachers in charge of the process, to reduce the response time between the manual processes that are handled.
The technologies that have allowed to carry out the problems are NetBeans, Hibernate, JSF, HQL, JavaScript among others, which are detailed in the document.
The process is based on a workflow, through which through various stages the student enters the necessary information for each process, while a manager will be responsible for validating the information entered by the student, once the manager has approved all the data entered by the student for that stage, the student can proceed to the next stage, in case one of the data has been denied, the student has the task of correcting the wrong data and re-enter it until its subsequent validation.
The web system has been designed according to the requirements requested in the interviews with the clients, fulfilling all the functional and non-functional requirements, validated in various tests carried out on the system, with which it was verified that the system complies with quality standards allowing an easy process of interaction with different types of users and their light responsive interface adaptable to the screen from where they want to use it. |
