This project focuses on the development of a web application for the track of the titulation projects in the Systems Engineering career at the Politécnica Salesiana University in Quito, for the purpose of solving the inconveniences that this entity experiences at present, for example: outdated information referring to the development of the projects, possible overload of projects assigned to tutors, etc. For this it was analyzed the new titulation process and the application was developed so that users can have key information of the new procedure in an opportune, precise and safe way. The tools used for the application development are: Hibernate 3.6 as framework for the persistence layer, PostgreSQL as the database management system, business layer with Java Server Faces 2.0 and its presentation layer Primefaces 5.3. The first chapter covers information about the methodology and tools that were used during the development of the informatics system. In chapter two it is made an analysis of the problem and it presents the design prototype of each system module. In chapter three it is detailed the construction of the application, considering several aspects such as software architecture, relevant code and the resulting information from the various kinds of tests applied. |
