The present document shows the systematization of a project for the design
and implementation of a working environment evaluation in GARCOS SA,
organization with offices in Quito and Guayaquil, carried out between January and
May 2016. The evaluation constitutes a base line for the proposal of an improvement
plan consistent with the diagnosed reality.
Through the application of a survey to the managers and supervisors of the
company, the project determined the factors and subfactors of working environment
that were subsequently evaluated among 42 workers in the areas of logistics and
sales of the company. The results were tabulated and quantitatively assessed using
the EDCO method. Finally, the evaluation allowed to determine the main elements to
be considered in the proposed improvement plan that was presented to the company.
The development of the project allowed the application of knowledge of the career of
Occupational Psychology in a real working environment.
As the main conclusions of the project, it was determined that the factors to
be improved within the company's working environment were leadership,
communication and the perception of equity in remuneration. Considering the
results, it is recommended to the studied company the implementation of the
improvement plan proposed in this document |
