This research was conducted as a response to the special educational needs related to the lack of teachers on developing tailored to the area of mathematics instructional materials for teaching students with visual disabilities of second to seventh base year involved in the Light Programme Dr. Oswaldo Loor Moreira Foundation. Of persons served by the program, was chosen as the research sample included 19 students in regular schools in different districts of the province of Manabi. To achieve the objective: to design a pedagogical guide for teachers as a contribution to the educational process, the texts relating to each of the topics were selected. The methodology used is explanatory type, quantitative mode, no experimental category. 89 data collection instruments, including surveys of teachers and mothers with closed questions, interviews with heads of educational institutions, program director and developers with open questions and observation sheet to teacher performance in order to determine their applied requirements in this regard. For graphical analysis were performed allowing easily see the results of the data collection instruments applied to confirm or deny the hypothesis, support the conclusions and recommendations. |
