Sumario: This grade work done in “Pensionado Tarquí School”, located in the southing sector of the city of Quito. The study was the work done in the classroom initial two with children between four and five years old. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the teaching practices of initiation to Reading and writing in initial two and in turn understand. Obtain the expected result in this work title used as a qualitative method by observing and analyzing information. This information was saved in the records of classes which had necessary parameters to reach the desired goal. The theoretical basis on which it was drawn to this word has helped to sustain the result.
