The present work is a review referring to a systematization focused on describing the experience gained during the internship, it let make an analysis and a diagnosis of the needs and problems with the purpose of generating the implementation of a proposal for valuation of positions in the laboratory of analysis in the technical and administrative areas.
The main objective was to carry out in the laboratory a methodology of job evaluation through a technical study by factors and points that can help the company establish limits of salary for all the charges in order to be more equitable depending on the functions that the pay.
Twenty-six positions were rated in the technical areas: Physical Chemical - Environmental, Microbiology and Bromatology and in the administrative areas, as well as 14 sub- factors included in four factors: Aptitude, Responsibility, Effort and Working Conditions, each with a percentage that was used to obtain a score of each position in order to know what the salary will be according to the study carried out.
As the main conclusions of the project, it was determined that the factors established and the sub – factors helped to determine a gap that pointed a difference between the salaries of the positions, it is recommended to the company to study the implementation of the project as soon as it has the necessary budget. This will save time to the Laboratory Manager and the Human Resources department in hiring new staff and salary increases. |
