As a result of the investigation we conclude that the style of leadership applied by middle managers, is one of the factors that determine the work environment. One of the main characteristics of leadership is that it is situational. The leader act in a certain way depending on the situation, and the study shows that the predominant style of leadership in Pymes companies is democratic leadership. Furthermore, by measuring the work environment, we determined that workers do not feel completely satisfied with the leadership style applied. Thus we defined that the main strategies to solve the problem is to promote organizational culture, train leaders, train workers and create a career plan in the companies for workers. The objective of doing these activities is to have a better work environment, increase productivity and make the company grow. |
