This project specifically details the design and implementation of a UHF radio communication system between the populations of Machachi-Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, also describes the shortcomings that it had before the new study of the communication system of the Cooperativa de Transportes. “MEJÍA” for the improvement of the service it provides.
The Bus Transportation Cooperative "MEJÍA" is characterized by providing transportation service in the towns of Machachi - Quito, however, the growth of the company has gone hand in hand with the increase of bus users so it is necessary. to increase new routes one of them is to the city of Santo Domingo de Tsachilas in an executive service. However this brought problems with the system that was previously used since it did not allow the expansion of the coverage to the desired sector.
The present project proposes to improve the state of the communication system through previous study of the expansion of coverage to the aforementioned area for this is carried out an analysis of the tentative places for the placement of communication equipment as verifying resources available for implementation. The proposed design was carried out by means of a simulation prior to the link to be made, this check allows to determine a suitable communication system and that the implementation is carried out effectively.
The values obtained in the simulation are compared with the values obtained in the engineering study carried out for the granting of the new frequency, with this it is determined that the link is viable for the requirements presented by the Cooperativa de Transportes "MEJÍA", In addition, signal verification tests were carried out with highly qualified equipment to verify the effectiveness of the link and its successful communication by the carriers and the central base, allowing the new route to have more control and security of the service provided. |
