Sumario: Is work whose theme is: Pedagogical Models in the Basic Secondary Education of the ISM International Academy in the province of Pichincha, canton Quito, which the purpose is to identify which are the pedagogical models that are applied in the ISM International Academy in the Basic Education Media. The selected theme is to ensure: the formation of the type of man or woman that tends to form, respond to social needs, with clear criteria that give them particularity and specificity. A pedagogical model is a way of conceiving the practice of the formative processes in an institution, it includes the processes related to the pedagogical questions of how it is learned, how it is taught, the most adequate methodologies for the assimilation of knowledge, skills and values. Bibliographical and field research was conducted through the use of instruments such as: the interview scripts and the field diary that allowed the collection of information. For the analysis of the results, methodological work was carried out from a qualitative perspective with the ethnographic method, in which narrative conversations of the relevant ethnographic situations are exposed during the observed days. Finally, it is important to mention that the research work is structured, initially with the contextualization of the educational institution, then explains the conceptual theoretical framework with the following topics and finally presents the main ethnographic findings and analysis of the results of investigative work.
