Sumario: This research intends to find microorganisms capable of biotransform the bile acids salts: cholate and sodium dehydrocholate, which are residues generated during the chemical synthesis out of the ursodeoxycholic acid. Against this, this investigation was able to evaluate the capacity of using these waste products, for go back synthesize the ursodeoxycholic acid, or generate molecules of interest that can be seized in the hormones synthesis. For this, was used the pontential of biotransformation for bile acids realized by fungus and bacterias that are capable to perform specific modifications in the steroid structure, provide multiple benefits that are translated into economy; time and work. The evaluation of these microorganisms with the capacity of biotransform the bile acids salts (sodium cholate and dehydrocholate) was carried out through thin layer chromatography. Such technique allows identify the biotransformations performed by microorganisms. Later we executed the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance, to identify some products of biotransformation.
