In the present work of systematization of the knowledge about the Achuar gastronomy to complement and enrich the contents of the social sciences area, I have asked the grandparents of the community, to know what change there is from the old life to the current life, on the feeds of culture, in such a way, generate the answers by asking the elders of different collectivities. For in all areas of the world there are some great varieties of cultural gastronomy, in which, seeing the situation that is happening in our Achuar culture, I have made the decision to do this research work. Therefore, to specify this topic, I have investigated the grandparents of different communities of Juyukam, Yankunts, Mashumarentsa, and they detailed the foods that our elders knew how to prepare, because in the current life, really, we are losing the forms of preparation of cultural foods, with the sense that our edible animals are finishing, also by the population of inhabitants who live in the communities and do not help to take care of the edible animals that are in danger of extinction. And I also consulted different texts that tell about foods of each culture, to understand and explain very well the foods that have different knowledge. Therefore, this research work was important, with the idea that our children who come behind us, know how to understand very well, reading this work that I made, since there is greater oblivion of Achuar food. |
