Sumario: The present work aims to reflect the expectations of the indigenous family front education in good hope, Cangahua parish, canton of Cayambe, Pichincha province. The participation of indigenous communities in the construction of an inclusive education system, has meant an alternative for overcoming personal, social and economic, i.e. an alternative to exit the need. In earlier decades, many were the families that were left out of the educational process by several factors, such as: the lack of financial resources, the lack of support from their constituents, educational institutions outside of the community, lack of infrastructure, lack of technological resources in the classroom, etc. Thus, the aspirations of being involved in the school system were derived. This has been triggered so many families in this community and other communities fail to conclude with formal education. Now all have the right to education, however, the education provided in the rural sector has been criticized and in many cases embarrassed by families of the same sector. This perception influences decisions of the fathers and mothers of families to find new paths that meet their expectations. For the development of the field work, are emphasized the qualitative method, using as an ethnographic instrument to the interview. The main actors of this document were families chosen regarding the participation of children in local education as external.
