Sumario: The verbal and nonverbal communication, are very important elements in human life, it is conditioned and influenced by the context in which people develop. Each element found around people also influences their behavior, so in this work is taken at first the main theories on communication, and then make an analysis in the environment of an American bar-restaurant, whose results are shown in a documentary. The bar is a place where the elements of the environment are linked in a way that directly influence people by creating a perfect atmosphere to generate communication. Through interviews with experts in the various areas of the bar, communication theorists and conducting field research, this work has been developed with reference to the bars: TGI. Friday's, La Boca del Lobo, Mulligan's, San Antonio, among others.
