The purpose of this article is identifying the impact of the article 103 of the LOC in
the majors broadcasting in the city of Quito. In order to comply, it was required to
structure an analysis of relevant theory in the communication field to promote the
study and interpretation from a critical and reflective view of the system; this theory
is rigorously critical. This research was based on documentary literature and field
research. In the second one was use the interview technique applied to the principal
actors as musicians and people related with radio that in one way or another they are
impacted with the article 1x1 of LOC and its regulations. Through this study, people
can found a link between the musical artistic productions with the market that makes
their products responds the parameters set from the system. Also we can find the
characterization by building products that go on sale and are ephemeral, meaning with
that the disappear from the market and of the minds of consumers with the same speed
with which they appear. National production is submitted to foreign production, which
are the ideal to follow and are the ideal measured. This leads to be a lack of
opportunities and barriers that Ecuadorians can´t compete. The Regulation 103 of the
Communications Act, better known as 1x1 requires complementary measures by the
state to promote adequate preparation of the artists in the musical field and the artist
can create quality products from their own identities. |
