Access to drinking water in Ecuador, especially in rural areas, is limited, its evidence can be found in health population impacts and time waste to get water in difficult conditions.
This investigation is based on a vulnerability analysis of Pesillo-Imbabura project drinking water systems within an environmental, economic, social, physical and functional approach, this study was done in three stages: investigation field, digitalization (validation and verification of the gathered information) and finally, information processing, where a qualitative and quantitative analysis was done so that one can get the vulnerability level from this study filed, the tool used for this investigation was a double matrix entrance where parameters were evaluated together with drinking water regional board within this project.
Based on the results, it is recommended some water management aspects for within every drinking water board to be taken in count to generate an adaptation and resilience of the territory inside this project. |
