As part of the improvements of roads in the city of Quito, “Quitumbe” Zonal Administration, plans to build a longitudinal avenue in the south of the city, which includes the construction of a bridge of 50 meters of span on the “El Conde” ravine, located at south east of this city, intending to this length design using composite section, and two bearings without intermediate support, under the application of international AASHTO standard code 2002.
The design of the bridge section is attached to the section of the “Padre Carollo” Avenue, its preserved the four lanes, two in each direction, intermediate parterre, shoulders and sidewalks with slight modifications for reasons of weight of materials.
It should be mentioned that this report represents a chapter of the planning. “Padre Carollo” Avenue, which was already accepted by “Politecnica Salesiana” University for publication. Then the contents will complement the study in question and focus in this regard the development of the report. |
