Oral traditions and expressions are a fundamental part of the culture of societies, and
even constitute as part of their intangible heritage; they are transmitted under a
replication mechanism of these elements through cultural units called memes.
This research sought to approach the process of transmitting cultural elements, taking
into account the validity and relevance within the host society . The influence of
technology , of foreign words have gradually influenced the partial or complete
disappearance of certain phrases , proverbs and other expressions , affecting
intangible heritage of cultures. |
