Sumario: The EQUYSUM enterprise it’s found positioned in the area of telecommunications thanks to the provision of services that offered. With the offer of these services has increased the staff in order to meet the needs of customers. This growth has produced an increase in the volume of transmitted information between operators and customers, which has caused a deficiency in their network infrastructure. For these reason it’s proposed the project to design Campus Network of the Equysum enterprise applying the PPDIOO methodology (Preparation, Planning, Design, Implementation, Operation and Optimization) network. The project began with information gathering of the network existing at software and hardware level, with which it’s identified the shortcomings and potentialities of the existing network. With the obtained information and realizing a growth annual projection the network design was developed for it’s later verification with a simulation by the aid of computer tool, this will allow to present the proposals of improvement for the campus network. Finally will be realized the economic factibility of the project by the aid of the financial instruments TIR, VAN, benefit cost and recovery period. The proposed design meets the requirements of the enterprise, offering an internal communication improvements, scalability and availability; thus solving the shortcomings presented in the existing network infrastructure.
