Sumario: The project presented detailing the implementation of a SCADA system for water heating system used in the building Manuela Saenz of Andina Simon Bolivar University. Studies prior to the installation of SCADA system, led the University to replace hot water system and a reengineering of complementary systems as centralized gas, hoses or change. Based on the new hot water system, we performed the redesign of the system data acquisition and control over new equipment installed, in order to comply with the limits for the temperature to the user and provide information about the hot water consumption, and a real, current and historical, of the variables in each part of the system. Once implemented the acquisition of data, tests were performed to choose the best control over the pumps and the water heater, managing to keep 99.3% of the time of day the temperature of the user within the ranges established by identifying fully the reasons why could not reach 100% or less range of variation of the temperature.
