Analysis of the Educational Practice of Don Bosco, through the Theory of Integral Education, possible to understand from another perspective, educational style, which over time exceeded local boundaries and catapulted him to universality, is welcomed its method, even in non-Christian environments. His ideology placed in an important position in the field of pedagogical ideas, becoming part of a select group of figures and transcendent world class educational approaches which dominated of the XIX century, and even today recognized among the cognitive foundations of contemporary pedagogy.
The analysis of educational practice through theory of integral education highlights the need to adjust educational structures and systems to contextual demands, requirements and sociocultural current projections.
Ignorance of these relationships imply obsolescence and, ultimately, the delegitimization of the pedagogical model endorse. This can be corroborated with relative sharpness in a present where new educational borders defy conventional criteria consistent learning and mental structures that support it; which leads us inexorably to the recognition of a new way of teaching new ways of learning.
The validity of both the Salesian educational system and the Integral Education, strengths, various applications in the new scenarios and feasibility of the proposal for schools is a task that demands new times with new youth scenes. Analysis of the two proposals is necessary and confront, both in spiritual formation, respect for the individuality of human beings and the environment, development of intelligence and personal skills, which complemented entirely with the pedagogy of love in focus as direct practice to students, harmoniously links all elements, factors and members of the educational community, as the means to achieve change and personal improvement. |
