Sumario: The present communicative product is a photoreporting focused in the Andean culture and the Food Heritage of the traditional drinks that are commercialized inside the city of Quito. The drinks have a cultural scheme of identity and symbolically inside a country or city, for such a motive, the drinks qualify along the history in: cold, warm, moisturizing, medicinal and alcoholic in order to satisfy the pleasures and tastes of every person. The Food Heritage encompasses the whole of production practices, obtaining food, cultural and culinary practices, that is, bound to the food system in their extension with: plant and animal products, different forms of process (planting, harvesting of fruits, hunting and fishing of animals), forms of preparation contemplating the spaces, time consuming and ancestral knowledge. In the Food Heritage, manifestations exist inside the cultural contexts of consumption and transformations of products; hybridize to the culture and identity in a space or territory determined by the company. Meals and drinks are patrimonial dependence with the ingredients and the form of food preparation. The Andean culture reflects on the water to be regarded as a living being, stimulating element for mother earth and the base of the drinks that are used for purifying rituals and ceremonies of the indigenous communities that are Andean civilizations that emerged from the western region of South America.
