For our children, the process of writing is not easy at all. Even those who are considered good students can have significant problems when writing a text. Many times, their compositions have no logical structure, clarity, and a clear topic or purpose (in addition to revealing several lexical and syntactic faults). Therefore, this review article highlights some of the difficulties student “newbies” present in terms of academic writing. Also, the different processes involved in writing a text and its various problems are identified, to finally present some helpful suggestions. |
