Growing up near a human who has very different with respect to peer characteristics, it allows experiencing exclusion to which they are exposed people with disabilities. One of the spaces of socialization par excellence is her school and the teachers are responsible for encouraging the meeting of everyone and especially to think and make possible the convergence of diversity. A process of inclusion in school is mediated by the needs, expectations and emotions of the subjects that converge in it. Recognize the difference is part of the skills of the teacher, but how to approach the opposite poles, the visible and the invisible is built day by day in the development of our vocation. The ability to move relative to the life of the child or young person with functional diversity allows teachers to open up opportunities for all and all converge at school, but at the same time so that everyone can learn from and to the difference. This is made possible by the political action of each teacher. |
