Sumario: This article describes an investigation that allowed characterizing the encounter between the home culture and the culture of society through proposed symbolic games on a foundation that works with children of families who have lived displacement. In this documents appear an experience of intervention that integrates different ludic modalities around the recreation of a symbolic game called "The little house"; through this game is offered scenarios that makes an encounter between the home culture and the culture of society recognizing conflicts that children were facing and responses between them and occasionally from the hand of adult players was constructed. The methodology corresponds to a descriptive qualitative study. The design is characterized as a case study and the results of the investigation allowed us to recognize in the encounter between the cultures, the resources for children to face the conflict, knitting memory of their culture to their present and transform your everyday life. This is a route to understanding the nature of the meeting , that happens between cultures that the displacement reunites, and illuminates the role of psychology alongside community as bridge builders to happen an encounter that helps to celebrate difference and make the conflict a chance.
