Sumario: With a greater acceptance of robotics competition in the country, and the development of various tournaments at the level of Institutes of Higher Education, this paper opts for the design and implementation of a multi-category robot model, which allows participation in several Categories in the same competition with a single prototype. Based on studies the common characteristics of the competition robots that could be integrated were determined, a unifying of the robots follower of line sprinter, follower dexterity and robot labyrinth was realized by means of the design and development of a chassis of type modular that respects The individual mechanics / electronics of robots to make them competitive in their environment. Through the development of closed loop control systems and PD algorithms (Proportional and Derivative), each robot could meet its specific objectives in competition and this was verified by field tests using tracks replicas of the CER 2015- 2016 and SALESBOT 2017, in addition to validate the prototype, the multi-category robot was submitted to national competencies as representative of the UPS-UIO, and managed to be among the first three podiums.
