The present titling work makes it possible to know the expectations of indigenous families regarding education, with the purpose of obtaining close data on the education of boys and girls, in the Bilingual Intercultural Community Educational Center "Saraurco". In addition, this research helped to obtain an approach to the reality of educational quality in the rural sector, through the perceptions that families have, since they are immersed in the education of their sons and daughters.
In this research work, 12 people participate between parents, mothers of family, leaders of the community, where they express the nonconformity for the scarcity of education, because the school of their community has only up to seventh year of EGB, and therefore, they do not have access to high school and high school.
Therefore, in order to continue with the general basic education and the baccalaureate they must go to another educational institution located 20 kilometers from their homes, but in the community there are no means of transportation for the students to move. However, so that the future generation does not remain without studying the members of the community have agreed to hire a tour for the adolescents who are studying, the secondary education and the baccalaureate.
Thus, the expectations of indigenous families is to help with the economic support for academic training, their sons and daughters so that they can finish their studies and obtain a technical or university degree and exercise their profession, improving the quality of life of their children, the same. |
