Sumario: This case analysis to suggest the pedagogical models determined for the Ecuadorian Basic General Education according to the 2016 Curricular reform, particularly in the School of Basic Education "Lucila Santos de Arosemena" of the province of Pichincha, canton of Quito in the parish of Puengasi . Therefore, an investigation is made related to the pedagogical model that the institution applies in education, as well as the appropriate, viable and pertinent use of the methodology, resources and ways of evaluating the teaching-learning process. Six teachers were observed. It is subject to all recommended procedures and observation sheets are used as a technique and instrument for data collection, applied to teachers. With these facts, valid and reliable results are obtained, which after being analyzed and interpreted, allow to reach conclusions in the study such as: The educational model applied by teachers in the institution during their class periods is a link between constructivist schools, behaviorist and traditionalist. In the present writing we will find the theoretical reference base to distinguish the pedagogical models of education. The methodology used by teachers in their classrooms and how different pedagogical tools are used within the educational practice. Finally, the analysis of the results obtained in the selection of data and how they relate to the national curricular proposals.
