For years Ecuador has had many shortcomings and difficulties in the education process, since it has been working with a traditional pedagogical model, and as a consequence of this, in schools there was no change or progress in learning. In the current context, this research aims to identify the pedagogical model assumed by the Educational Unit "Leibnitz" and implemented by the teachers of the General Basic Education levels (5th, 6th and 7th) in the subjects of: Mathematics, Language and Literature, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. For this it is important to consider the following axes, such as the role of the teacher, the interrelation between teachers and students, the learning activities, the resources and teaching strategies and the evaluation of learning, as well as the study and analysis of the main pedagogical models that assumed the teachers of the institution such as: Traditional, Social and Constructivist. The methodology used is: qualitative using techniques and tools for the collection of information and data, addressed to students and teachers in the classroom through observation cards, interviews, in addition to the curriculum analysis of the Mandatory levels and the Institutional School Project (PEI); reaching the following results: that in the Curriculum, as in the PEI, the Constructivist Pedagogical Model predominates, but within the classrooms some models like the Traditional, the Social and many of the teachers try to focus on the model constructivist in order to respond to what is established in the PEI of the Educational Unit. |
