The purpose of the current investigation is to determine best practices for the
evaluation of learning in the career of Education at Polytechnic Salesiana University,
Quito Campus. The expected outcome is to identify the authenticity for evaluation of
learning in the career of Education by elaborating an in depth analysis of the analytical
plan at the professional level. The objective of the study with this perspective is to
focus on the alternative method known as “authentic evaluation” which is the solution
to the down side of “traditional evaluation”. The methodology behind this study is a
“mix cut of descriptive reach”. The information was analyzed based on the three
principles established in the fundamental theory. Realistic homework, professional
identity and academic value. Based on the analysis of contents there is not an entire
approach to the authenticity of homework in the evaluation; however there are still
some features of traditional evaluation that are opposed to the authenticity, specifically
in reference to exams where reproductive/memoristic questions predominate as well
as the non-participation of students in self assessments and peer assessments. |
