The attached investigation concerning a theoretical methodological process allowed us to establish a procedure in the investigation and diagnosis of practices in the pedagogical field of the University Politécnica Salesiana Quito taken from period 44 (september - february) and 45 (march - august) therefore identifying the authenticity of learning instruments in such field. As a principal theme we will analyze the traditional definition of evaluation, this evaluation supercedes all models and is referred to as an "authentic evaluation" The focus of this investigation is a process that gathers, analyzes and links quantitative and qualitative data in this study utilizing the technique of data collection and the traditional study of explaining, describing and exploring information of the evaluation tools. This information is analyzed considering as the central axis, the criteria of realistic analysis of given subjects, professional authority and priority of subject matter. Upon analysis of the obtained data we can determine that the evaluation process at the ups is one that permits us to determine the student's knowledge, if he/she is able to solve easy or difficult situations and what they are capable of doing utilizing strategies and diverse procedures some which include life experience and significant problems with simple answers. There are various subjects that compromise objective matters or memory recall which are traditional tools in the classroom learning process. |
