The work is done for school children in our Achuar area, because they have difficulties reading and writing in the Achuar language. With this material the teachers could be supported for teaching and learning with the children. This text is made according to the world of the Achuar child, of his reality, most of his time spent playing in the river, in the garden, in the house. These are the shelters where our children most share. The first part has the following background, because our children have difficulties to read and write well in our languages, because of these problems that school children in our area have little knowledge in their language and do not give importance in daily use. The purpose of this work is to leave a written material for the children so that they can support in their daily studies. My proposal is designed for children to write a text in our language so that it does not disappear if it is only oral use and has divided into six units, each of which are developed with readings. If there are texts in our language, our children will learn better to read and write in their own language, and they can speak in public without being ashamed, leading a community or organizing it. Another reason I have is for the teachers who work in the educational institutions in our area to take this material so that they can use it in their teaching to read and write in our language |
